Animals: Uganda has healthy populations of Elephants (Ugandan elephants often show characteristics of forest elephants with straighter tusks), Lion (watch out for the tree climbing lions of Ishasha), Giraffe, Leopard, Kob (an antelope and Uganda's National Emblem), Zebra, Water buffalo, Massive Crocodiles (especially at Murchison falls) and many others. Great News is that the Rhino is back in Uganda! Initially in a small protected reserve at Ziwa. If breeding is successful they will be transferred to other National parks and Reserves. Birds: If you are "wild about birds" or even if you are not, you will be sure to see many of Uganda's 1000 species of birds. Because of its' geography, Uganda has # dessert, savannah, wetland, river and forest species. Most sought after are the Shoe bill stork, Crowned crane (Uganda's other National Emblem), Goliath heron, the brightly coloured Weaver birds, dazzling Bee eaters, Noisy and elusive Touracos, Sunbirds,Eagles and Kingfishers.There are so many to see....

Fishing: Now widely recognised for the Finest Freshwater Big Game Fishing for Nile Perch. The largest Freshwater game Fish in the World IGFA Record 230lb. Also excellent sport are Tiger Fish and Large Catfish Species. We recommend a Tour focussing on Lake Victoria and Murchison Falls on The Nile.
