| Day One: | Leave Kampala early morning for Lake Mburo Nat Park stopping for Lunch, souvenir shopping and photo opportunity at the Equator. Arrive Lake Mburo in the afternoon and take an evening game drive to view the unusual mix of savannah and wetland mammals and birds. Leave Mburo and overnight at small friendly Hotel. |
| Day Two: | Breakfast and depart early morning for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stopping on route at viewpoints as we cross the Ankole Grasslands (our Spiritual Home) and Swamps heading east towards the town of Bushenyi, Lakes Edward and George and Mweya our overnight camp. A light lunch will be served before you take an evening game drive, while we set up camp and prepare your evening meal. Overnight under canvas with a million stars, campfire and lively chat. Try to control your excitement, don't stay up all night and get good nights sleep as we rise early in the morning!! |

| Day Three: | Rise Early, have breakfast and head out for a full day game drive to see Africa's Big Game in their natural habitat. The geographical and geological influences on the area over time have attracted a mix of forest, savannah and wetland species to area. This is especially evident in the diversity of birdlife. Hopefully you will see the rare Shoe Bill Stork. If not there are many other species. The main watercourses in the area are Lakes Edward, George and the Niles. These attract most game animals to drink or feed on the margins. Expect to see Hippopotamus, Elephants (note the forest characteristics of thinner straighter tusks), Lion, Water Buffalo, Crocodile, Wart Hog and the seldom seen Giant Forest Hog (the worlds largest wild pig) and Leopard. There are many others if you keep your eyes open. A picnic lunch is provided with a cold drink. Evening we return to camp for your evening meal. Overnight under canvas with campfire. |
| Day Four: | A later rise and more leisurely breakfast, followed by a launch trip up the Kazinga Channel Lunch will be served on board if possible. Late afternoon enter "The Jungle" on foot at Kyambura Gorge to see Chimpanzee, other primates and many forest birds in a cooler lush setting.Overnight under canvas. |
| Day Five: | After a hearty breakfast we leave for Murchison Falls. Arriving at midday we set up camp and prepare lunch. Relax after lunch at camp ready for the evening game drive. Overnight under canvas, evening meal and campfire. |
| Day Six: | Rise early, breakfast and morning game drive to see more wildlife. Launch trip up to The Murchison Falls where the mighty Nile is forced through a 7-metre gap on it's way to Egypt! A short stroll will be taken if time allows. Head back to camp and then the return journey to Kampala for 5-30pm. A picnic or cafe lunch is provided on route. Stops at view points and souvenir markets if time allows. Early evening drop-offs at Hotel, Backpackers retreats or Entebbe Airport. |
