| Day Three: | Breakfast and depart mid morning for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Stopping on route at viewpoints as we cross the Ankole Grasslands and Swamps heading east towards the town of Bushenyi and Mweya our overnight camp. A light lunch is served before the evening game drive, while we set up camp and prepare your evening meal. Overnight under canvas a million stars, campfire and lively chat. Try to control your excitement, don't stay up all night and get good nights sleep, as we rise early in the morning!! |
| Day Four: | Rise Early, have breakfast and head out for a full day game drive to see Africa's Big Game in their natural habitat. The geographical and geological influences on the area over time have attracted a mix of forest, savannah and wetland species to area. This is especially evident in the diversity of birdlife. Hopefully you will see the rare Shoe Billed Stork. There are many others. The main watercourses in the area are Lakes Edward, George and the Niles. These attract most game animals to drink or feed on the margins. Expect to see Hippopotamus, Elephants (note the forest characteristics of thinner straighter tusks), Lion, Water Buffalo, Crocodile, Wart Hog and the seldom seen Giant Forest Hog (the worlds largest wild pig) and Leopard. There are many others if you keep your eyes open. A picnic lunch is provided with drink. Evening we return to camp for evening meal. Overnight under canvas with campfire. |
| Day Five: | Today you can have a little more sleep followed by a more leisurely breakfast. On this fifth day we are able to offer you the choice of activities: 1) Taking a launch trip up The Kazinga Channel to get up close and personal with Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalo and many species of birds. 2) A guided nature walk with a Ugandan Nat Parks Ranger. 3) Sport Fishing may be available. At an extra charge. If you're successful, you may be the most popular person when dinner is served! Evening we return to camp for evening meal. Overnight under canvas with campfire. |
| Day Six: | In the morning we break camp and head towards Murchison Falls. This is a longer drive, which we will punctuate with stops at viewpoints, roadside markets and to take refreshments. Overnight at Masindi in a small friendly hotel. A great opportunity for a relaxing bath, use the laundry service and maybe sample the local nightlife. Not too much local hooch (waragi, maramba) though as we leave early next morning for the Park! |
| Day Seven: | Leave Hotel, arrive midmorning at Murchison Falls Nat Park. Set up camp at Budongo, have lunch and go out on primate walk looking for Chimps and other monkeys or afternoon/evening game drive. Evening meal and campfire. Overnight under canvas. |

Then we break camp for the Murchison Falls themselves where the mighty Nile is squeezed through a tiny 7-metre gap and it doesn't go quietly, crashing down 30metres and making the ground tremble!! Lunch will be served at the head of the falls after launch trip. Possibility of short walk before returning to camp for rest period prior to evening game drive. Evening meal and campfire. |
